I work with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, big emotions, neurodivergence, trauma, and challenges at home. Maybe your child has been having bigger reactions lately, pulling away, struggling to communicate what they need, or having a hard time adjusting to changes. It can be hard to watch your child struggle, especially when you’re not sure what’s underneath the behavior or how to help.

I believe children often communicate through play and behavior before they have the words to explain what they’re experiencing. In therapy, I use play, creativity, and conversation to give children a space to express themselves, build emotional regulation, and develop a stronger understanding of who they are. I also work closely with parents because supporting a child is rarely just about the child. Our relationship with the people who care for us can play such an important role in how safe, understood, and confident we feel.

My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming. I draw from play therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and family therapy to help parents better understand their child’s needs, strengthen connection, and feel more confident responding to difficult moments. With teens, I focus on creating a space where they can feel respected and genuinely heard while working through anxiety, identity, relationships, emotional overwhelm, and the challenges that come with growing up.

I want therapy to feel like a place where your child can get curious about what they’re experiencing, build on their strengths, and find ways for your family to feel more connected and supported. If you’re wondering whether therapy might be helpful for your child or family, I’d be happy to talk and see if we might be a good fit.
