I believe that everyone is affected by the systems we live within and that those systems can often affect both physical and mental health. My practice is deeply rooted in social justice, the biopsychosocial model of mental health, and strengths based approaches. With my clients I utilize techniques rooted in talk therapy, trauma informed therapy, somatics, attachment styles, and motivational interviewing.
I identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and use They/Them pronouns, my identities inform my practice and how I interact with my clients. I enjoy working with individuals who are adolescents and adults who identify as women, girls, non-binary, transgender, gender expansive, and agender.Â
I am an associate licensed clinical social worker. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Masters in Social Work and from Seattle University with a bachelors in psychology.
My work as a clinician is informed by my experiences working with children and adults with complex behavioral and psychological needs, families navigating social systems, and young adults facing large life transitions.I am trained in substance use disorders and harm reduction practices, ethics and policy, child development, and clinical interventions. I have a background working within outpatient intensive wraparound services and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
