Accepting New Clients

My primary goal in therapy is to deeply understand you. From my perspective, many of our challenges and needs originate from the desire to be understood. And as we are always fluctuating, this task is both difficult and worthwhile. There are unspoken layers of emotions, stories, values and morals which move within us. Identifying these movements, together, help to give some of the control back in our lives.

I gained my expertise working full time at a university as a psychotherapist, where I had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life. This experience honed my ability to connect with people across different identities, belief systems, and ways of being. As an integrative therapist, I draw from various therapeutic approaches to tailor work we do together to your unique needs and goals. This means our sessions might incorporate insights from philosophy, explore family dynamics, identify power-dynamics or even use visual tools like whiteboards. Above all, I practice a form of listening that works at your pace, consistently weaving your previous insights into our current conversations. This point about pace is important to me, particularly when it comes to trauma.

I thrive particularly well when it comes to identity and questions surrounding who we are. When you are ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and understanding, I'm here to listen.
